Our library may have been sufficient for the needs of the community 15 or 20 years ago, but the accommodation and appropriation provided is far from sufficient to supply the needs of a modern city with the population of Greater Vancouver. We need facilities for expansion, we need well equipped branch libraries and reading rooms to serve the outlying districts to the east, south, and west of the city.
