Mr. S. Shigematsu,
Reg. No.08177 –
P.O.Box 297,
Raymond, Alberta,
Canada.
Dear Mr. Shigematsu,
I was interested in knowing where you had been transferred. Several times I said to Mrs.Davidson “I wonder if “Steve” is amongst those who were moved to Skagit Valley”. It would have been a peculiar coincidence if you should camp with the Natural History in Skagit, and be sent back to another camp in that vicinity under less pleasing conditions.
I enclose a copy of the letter I wrote to Mrs.King regarding your butterfly collection, and if there is just one cabinet, I think I could find room for it in our radio room, which is not in use for the duration of hostilities. I would also see that they had some napthaline in them to reduce the risk of damage by mites.
I remain,
Yours faithfully,
(signature)
John Davidson
Associate Professor of Botany.
