April 6th, 1943.
Mr. John Davidson,
University of British Columbia,
Vancouver, B.C.
Dear Sir:
I have your letter dated the 2nd instant in regard to the Butterfly collection belonging to Mr. S. Shigematsu.
In the first place it was not me who acted as agent for the custodian, but my husband, who disassociated himself from the custodians department last October, but who is handing your letter over to the present representative Mr. C. C. Robinson, here in Steveston who will no doubt do what is necessary. I would advise you writing to him direct as it might probably facilitate matters.
Yours very truly,
(signed)
